Once Upon A Cocktail - A Storybook Fundraising Soiree

Thank you for an enchanting evening!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us on December 3rd for a magical night of cocktails, music, and community at the Charleston Library Society. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised over $30,000 to benefit children's literacy from birth to age five in the LowCountry. Your support will help countless children discover the joy of reading!

We were honored to have Charleston County School District Superintendent Anita Huggins as our featured speaker for the evening. Ms. Huggins powerfully emphasized the importance of our mission and why reading with children from birth is essential to their success. She stressed that early literacy is the foundation for closing achievement gaps and ensuring all students can reach their full potential, and that exposure to books before kindergarten truly is a significant factor in a child's success.
